For companies to build new capabilities and profitable business models they must measure and improve their productivity. This panel will explain how to measure workplace productivity in a shifting landscape, how employee engagement drives productivity and the importance of re-skilling staff to be more productivity in the future of work. It will also showcase how entrepreneurs can use benchmarking tools to compare themselves with other businesses in the industry.

Sal Rabbani, Senior Partner, Consulting, Business Development Bank of Canada

Sal actively contributes to the mission of BDC Consulting by providing Advisory Services that increase the competitiveness of Canadian businesses. Sal is responsible for the effective coordination and completion of BDC's Advisory Services offerings in the GTA and works closely with the Bank's functional areas and industry experts to ensure that the right mix of skills are in place to successfully complete each engagement. In addition, Sal is currently aligned to the Bank's Corporate Finance and Growth & Transition Capital practice in Ontario and has the responsibility to support the portfolio from an Advisory perspective.

Sue Bennett, Principal, and CEO of Bennett Design

Sue will focus on workplace tools developed to provide business with fact-based reports that establish quantitative and qualitative baselines.  These reports will  highlight real estate and space opportunities and knowledge-based programming options to help companies maximize their facilities to their fullest potential
